Perfect Pitch Game
Pursue perfect pitch through a sequence of singing-based drills
Pursue perfect pitch — naming any note by ear — by finding and labeling notes within your tessitura. A vocal range of at least one octave is required.
The approach rests on two ideas. Many people with perfect pitch sing or hum a note before naming it, in effect translating any pitch into their own voice; and relative pitch is highly trainable. So if you anchor a single reference note in memory, your relative pitch can derive every other note from it, with no external reference tone.
The game builds this through a sequence of drills — pitch matching, translating, anchoring, labeling, and a final test — each isolating one skill before they combine. Each drill carries its own description and rationale.
